You play cooperatively with your friends against the system to complete present day squad-level combat missions. At the start of each mission, you each select a soldier, equip him/her with skills, weapons, and combat gear within the mission's Resource limit. You then fight your way through hostile territory, engaging hostiles, as you attempt to reach and complete your mission objective.Every mission is a stand-alone game. You build your Soldiers, select your Gear, and then run your mission. Within 30 to 60 minutes you will have succeeded or failed.Warfighter uses a new combat system that takes into account the fire mode you select for your weapon, range, running out of ammo, suppression, and cover - all in the same dice roll! This system creates an incredibly deep narrative with every attack. As you eliminate hostiles, you gain experience to up gun your Action cards.Included ExpansionsExpansion #1 - ReloadingMore weapons, hostiles, equipment, locations, etc.Expansion #2 - StealthSpecializes in the low profile aspects of a mission such as stealth movement and suppressed weapons.Expansion #3 - SupportAdds drones, snipers, mortars, and all the supporting forces a modern squad has on call.Expansion #4 - DiceBullet dice!Expansion #5 - SpeedballMore weapons and equipment.Expansion #6 - UKUK soldiers, non-player soldiers, squad soldiers and UK weapons.Expansion #7 - Russian FederationRussian soldiers, non-player soldiers, squad soldiers and Russian weapons.Expansion #8 - Eastern European HostilesMissions, Objectives, Locations and Hostiles to run missions in Eastern Europe.Expansion #9 - FootlockerExtra cards, more counters, a scenario book, and introduces night combat and mini-missions to Warfighter. 7aa9394dea Title: Tabletop Simulator - WarfighterGenre: Casual, Indie, RPG, Simulation, StrategyDeveloper:Berserk Games, Dan Verssen GamesRelease Date: 3 Mar, 2017 Tabletop Simulator - Warfighter Download] [Patch] warfighter ww2 tabletop simulator Special note: Disregard the review from December 24 that claims there are no instructions; this is not true*. There is a 27 page Operations Manual sitting directly on the right side of the table when it loads. There is an additional 15 page scenerio booklet near the top right of the table, as well. (Both can be seen in this screenshot.) If needed, there are also several excellent files on Board Game Geek that summarize the rules in 4 pages or less. The game is fairly easy to learn, especially when compared to many other solo wargames (and Fields of Fire, I'm looking at you.)Review: This is an absolutely stellar version of an addictive game. Even at the full price of $15 (U.S.) it's a savings of over 90%, as the physical edition of the game and the same nine expansions would easily run $200. The scans are vibrant, and the images are crisp and gorgeous, even when completely zoomed in. The "Inactive" and "Timer" tokens are animated with a slow rotation, but they aren't too distracting. Cards snap into their proper places on the player mat, and the only real complaint I have (and it's a minor one) is that returning the deck boxes back into the carrying case on the table can be a bit tricky. Turns are quick once you get into the rhythm of things, and a game can be played in about an hour (give or take 30 minutes). In the world of wargaming, where a single turn can often take an hour, this speed and ease of play is a breath of fresh air.Warfighter is a blast if you're a solo board gamer. If you want to get into wargaming, or want to try a wargame that uses cards as its primary mechanic, you can't get more bang for your buck. Highly, highly recommended.(*If the review is amended, I'll happily delete this part from mine. Currently, the comments are disabled, but I couldn't let misinformation keep interested gamers from purchasing this excellent game.)EDIT: If you're looking for a high quality video tutorial, you can't do better than the series by Gimpy Gamer on YouTube. The first two videos should get you up and running. You can also find the game's instruction manuals (in multiple languages) at the publisher's website. (Really, it's incredible what you can find with a couple minutes of searching on Google.)
